There are upwards of 40 restaurants on the rue de la Roquette alone, stretching from Bastille to the Père Lachaise cimetery. This one, located just across the street from the Theatre de Bastille, is in the top three, for the quality of its cuisine, its great value, and friendly owner. Also a great place to have a glass of wine. Live music on Thursday evenings.
