ParisSharing has put in place a multi-factor system to protect you and your property, so that you can go away with peace of mind. 

1. Mandatory membership in the ParisSharing community

ParisSharing.com requires users to become members of its online community, after having accepted its Charter. This membership implies a modest fee, as well as the submission of personal information that can be consulted by owners. Members of PlanetSharing are therefore forthcoming people who are much more likely to be trustworthy.

2. Owner validation upon reservation 

The Site will allow you to obtain helpful information about the persons who are interested in your apartment, whether for rental or exchange. You will be able to correspond using the internal messsaging system and judge for yourself whether or not you feel like entrusting your home to the traveler. Your address and any other contact information will only be made available to the traveller once you have accepted the reservation.

3. Security deposit and arrival inventory 

PlanetSharing will secure on your behalf a security deposit for all rentals. This deposit will amount to half the price of the rental, with a minimum of 500€.  An inventory of the premises, signed by both parties, before and after the stay, will justify use of the deposit if any damages are observed.

4. Additional insurance 

Insurance is a last resort, but is important in the case of accidents. PlanetSharing offers additional insurance that will protect owners in addition to their standard homeowner insurance, which already covers many kinds of accidents.  

5. Member evaluation 

After each stay, each member evaluates his experience with the other member. A history of positive evaluations increases the member's credit within the community and is further rewarded through the accumulation of PlanetShares (loyalty points). On the other hand, PlanetSharing may exclude any members who behave in a manner inconsistent with the Charter.
