A few words from the host
Located in the RUE DE LAPPE, one of the most vibrant streets in Paris and only a couple of seconds from the BASTILLE, this 34m2 studio is situated on the 1st floor of a typical and secure (digicode at the entrance door) Parisian XVIII building.
Recently refurnished, this design apartment counts with a living room with parquet floors and large windows opening to a magnificent 18m2 PRIVATE and flowered TERRACE; a rare luxury at Paris!
The living part also proposes an office corner* (desk, free internet, WI FI, and unlimited phone calls to all europe and United States) as well as an agreeable “bibliotheque” (suitable for holding a 5th single bed if required) and a big pull out design sofa (200X120). The main double bed is on mezzanine.
A New York style kitchen (equipped with fridge, vitroceramics, microwave oven, coffee machine, washing and drying machine and all the cooking utensils needed) A full interior bathroom with an big shower (120X80)
ACCESS: Metro Station BASTILLE (lines 1, 5, 8, 9). 15” from Gare d’Austerliz, and from Gare de Lyon. Taxi Stop on the Place de la Bastille
All Linens included.Other commodities include TV, DVD, Stereo and large storing placard.
Bastille
Ever since that momentus revolutionary destruction of a prison (even though there were only seven inmates at the time), the Bastille neighborhood has carried a naughty reputation. It subsequently became a hot spot for dance halls, brothels, and other unruly establishments. What remains today is an extraodinarly diverse and constantly changing neighborhood with all imaginable forms of commerce and culture.
