A few words from the host

Ours is a large three-story home on a quiet street in an upscale western suburb of Paris, with a lovely garden and BBQ facilities. Built in 1930, we remodelled it completely in 2008. It is a very comfortable house with 5 bedrooms, a study room, a gym with jacuzzi and sauna, ... and everything you would need for a large family ! We also have a large, fully-equipped terrace, a nice back garden with a big trampoline and a pingpong table, and a front courtyard where you can park a car.

The Colombes train station is a ten minute walk from the house. From there, you can reach the centre of Paris (Gare St. Lazare) in 10 mn by train. You also have easy access to Versailles, la Défense, and Normandy. The same transportation pass "Paris Visit" that you would normally buy when touring Paris will provide you transportation to our address at no additional cost. The pass costs about 6€ per day per person (for a 5 day pass). See www.ratp.fr for more details.

All facilities are right near the house : supermarket, pharmacie, bakery, press ... The station is in the centre of Colombes, at 10 mn walk.

Colombes

Colombes and Bois Colombes are northwestern Paris suburbs, just across one of the bends of the Seine. They are predominantly middle to upscale neighborhoods because of their proximity to La Défense (Paris' major business district) and also to the center of Paris, via the direct train link to St. Lazare.
